We warmly invite you to the AP Korea Open Seminar – March 2026!
This month’s seminar topic is:
Toilet Training A to Z – Building Independent, Self-Initiated Toileting
Toilet training is one of the most common and challenging concerns many families face.
For children with developmental delays or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), parents often experience situations such as:
– Difficulty communicating the need to use the bathroom
– Reliance on adult prompts or reminders
– Success only in specific environments, with limited generalization to daily life
During this seminar, we will focus not on ‘prompted toileting’, but on helping children recognize their own needs, initiate requests independently, and gradually develop true toileting independence.
Drawing from extensive clinical experience, we will guide parents through the entire process—from getting started, navigating repeated setbacks, to supporting children in learning how to independently request bathroom use. The seminar will provide a clear, step-by-step understanding of toilet training from A to Z.
Toilet training is more than a daily living skill. It is closely connected to a child’s self-regulation, communication development, and growing independence.
We hope this seminar offers parents practical direction, clear strategies, and confidence moving forward.
A live Q&A session will follow the lecture, providing an opportunity to discuss real concerns families encounter at home.
We look forward to welcoming you to this meaningful learning experience.
